Attending the ESSDV3 meeting in Nice

PhD students Hannes Syryn and Charlotte Matton attended the exciting third European Symposium on Sex Determination in Vertebrates (ESSDV3) in November '24.
Charlotte presented her research on elucidating the role of lncRNAs in regulating FOXL2, a crucial factor in ovarian maintenance, using primary granulosa cell models and stem cell-derived granulosa cell models.
Meanwhile, Hannes showed the results of his research aiming to unravel the transcriptome of undifferentiated gonadal tissue, where he gained insights into cellular composition and developmental arrest.
